Every day in a desert north of Phoenix, hot air balloons take to the skies.

During a trip to Arizona, I was fortunate to take my wife on a hot air balloon flight. As carefree as we were once airborne, it wasn’t without struggle getting to that point. It took 4 different days of flight attempts to be able to soar above the mountains. This collection has a mix of photos from our flight and from our false starts.
