“Ad Astra Per Aspera” - Through Hardships to the Stars

The largest rocket ever built has left the planet for the first time.

For my day job, I spend my time as a rocket engineer for NASA. I am very proud to have worked on a part of the Orion/Space Launch System team. I feel very privileged to be seeing it up close and in person during the first and second launch attempts, along with the night launch in November 2022. As she left planet earth, the black sky turned as bright as day, on the way to a mission which paves the way for the exploration of the Moon and Mars. A mission for the benefit of all mankind.
